Space Construction (Pty) Ltd was formed in 1970 during the historical Apollo 11 space travels and since it's inauguration has earned a proud reputation within the civil engineering industry of growth, professionalism, honesty and safety.

Since Sept 2007 Space Construction (Pty) Ltd is proud to be part of Raubex Group. Raubex Group Limited is listed on the JSE since March 2007.

During the past 40 years Space has successfully completed various major contracts within South Africa and in most neighbouring countries mainly for Government, Provinces, Municipalities and private industries.

Our mission is to provide affordable quality service, excellent performance and safety. Through our personalised expert service we have achieved good working relationships. Our problem solving skills have allowed us to find unique ways of solving obstacles in a cost efficient manner. Despite our efficiency, safety has never been compromised. During 1996 and 2001 we received "Excellent Awards" for our outstanding contribution towards the safety of our employees.

Space Plant has over the years acquired an extensive fleet of modern heavy construction equipment, that is operated and maintained in excellent condition by a team of dedicated operators and support staff.
